In this post-degree I acquired the skills to:- Design and specify techniques and methodologies for the development of computer information systems.- Define strategic policies of information systems in public and private organizations.- Formulate organizational redesign processes linked to information systems.- Direct processes of organizational redesign with information systems.- Define quality standards for the area of information systems.- Formulate and manage information technology transfer projects.- Direct research projects and technology transfer oriented to the academic environment and / or the productive environment that have a direct relationship with the information systems, their development and the associated software products.

Information System Engineering

With this University degree I acquired the skills to:- Develop and deploy computer information systems for financial, administrative, industrial, e-business, etc. applications- Design and deploy information networks that support these information systems.- Develop simulation models, expert systems and other specific computer systems for the resolution of highly complex problems.- Specify, manage and control the operation and use of computing resources (computers, servers, network devices, software) in each organization.

SR System Analyst

Activities in this period:- Job Coordination of internal groups and providers for the development and deployment of the new QBE Core System, initially for only one product. Migration was from as400 plataform to Oracle and Java new one (INSIS - Fadata). The activities included were: Define new proccesses for new System and the interfaces between both systems (Due both systems will work togheter). I also had to control provider\'s activities, both the new system provider (they should make adaptations) and other providers that developed interfaces between both Core Systems. In order to do this I traveled many times to Bulgaria (where the system was originally from), and made daily call conferences.- Analysis and programming on AS400 environment of several modules of the Core system (COBOL and RPG/400 - Oracle PL/SQL).- Carrying out technical & functional design of business requirements- Helping users in UATs.

SR System Analyst

Activities in this period:- Coordination and control of task to be done by the differents teams of HSBC Argentina Software Delivery in order to migrate all transfer performed via FTP to Connect:Direct. This included to coordinate the Windows, Unix/Linux, AS400 and Mainframe teams.- To be the nexus between development area and the different technical areas.- Analysis and programming of several systems in COBOL and RPG/400 for both companies HSBC New York Life (NYL) and HSBC La Buenos Aires (LBA), that is, Life and Non Life Insurance. The systems in which I had involved are: Collections and Commissions (LBA and NYL), Issuance (LBA and NYL), Integrations and Claims (LBA).- Development of Interfaces between the Core System and different entities using ftp (sftp, ftps, curl, etc) and scripts in Linux.- Carrying out technical & functional design of business requirements- Helping users in UATs.
