PCC Hellas is a Patient Support Program Provider. My job is to analyze the data, perform the necessary ETL procedures and develop Machine Learning models. The ultimate goals are under investigation but in general I will: • Develop a model to classify the customers depending on their adherence in treatment. • Predicting Customer dropouts.

I participated in a new project (Business Administration Dept). It had to do with Time Series Analysis and Forecasting. I used Deep Learning Technics (Sequential Networks, LSTM, MLP, Keras, Tensorflow, Python, Anfis and Fuzzy Networks): • Maximizing profits on Bitcoin trading. • Predicting Economy Shocks • Discover most important factors in Covid 19 mortality.

The Computer Technology Institute and Press \Diophantus\ is a research and technology organization focusing on research and development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). I am hired as Data Science Consultant and Software Engineer. • Help on Design and Development of a new department in CTI whose main object will be Data Science applications for Public Sector. • Lead the new department. • Create a Hadoop Cluster Installation • Participate in application Development called “MySchool” in ASP.NET platform. This application serves as Management Information System of Ministry of Education. • Consultancy in Data Management and Data Administration of “MySchool”

Data Scientist

As an HCL consultant, I worked on a project for Tryg Insurance Company in Denmark. • Built a classification model for Accidents sector, to recommend insurance covers (like Disease cover, Critical Illness cover, etc.) • Developed forecasting model for Private Injury Sum that will be recommended to the client. • Built classification model in Travel sector, to recommend the most suitable Destination for the customer, and which insurance covers should be recommended.

DCSI is a company which offers maritime services. I had worked there in the past. Now my role was more as Data Scientist. • Built a forecasting model which will be based on several indices measurements to calculate the type of damage that is about to happen. • Created Business Analysis reports from financial statements and develop finance forecasting using econometric models

Data Analyst Consultant

DCSI is a company which offers maritime services. • Developed a study for installing Hadoop and Hadoop Ecosystem Tools. Hadoop 5 nodes cluster setup. • Data Analysis with the help of Hadoop. Map Reduce techniques for calculating the deviations from default values. Use of Python with Spark (pySpark) to validate results.

Data Scientist Consultant

Grekis Inox is a company which specializes in manufacturing metal tanks and piping networks. • Econometric and inferential Analysis of financial data combined with Monte Carlo simulation. After my study, the company was able to adjust its production in more effective ways in order to satisfy future demand. The company reduced the expenses for raw material at 5% and reduced the production risk at 10%.

Software Developer

DCSI is a company which offers maritime services. • Developed of the 3D representation software for vessels. It offered the ability to measure surfaces and lengths of parts of the vessel. At the same time, it could measure the same features from 2D photos of the vessel parts. • Developed real time reporting application based on NodeJS, SocketIO and dygraphs.

Android App Developer

My work as Android App Developer resulted in an app called “GeoSurprise”. It is a free app in Google Store. Its main functionality is geo-location. • Geolocation features implementation and Facebook API incorporated. • Server is based on NodeJS and CouchDB Technology

School of Sciences is a company which specializes in providing teaching services to university students. • Provided class lessons for Advanced Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics and Financial Mathematics.

IT Director

Casino Rio is one of the biggest casinos in Greece. When I undertook the position, there was no IT department, and the IT infrastructure was so obsolete that was barely functioning. I had to rebuild everything from scratch. One of my main roles was that of Data Scientist where the goal was to support Finance and the Marketing Department in decision making. • Conducted Data Analysis to provide great support to Marketing and Finance department. I implemented techniques like ETL, econometric models, Response modeling, Machine Learning, Forecasting, Inferential Statistics. The inferences revealed at least 10% margin in cost reduction. • Redesigned of data and voice network • Recruit the IT department and negotiate with IT providers (Microsoft, Dell, etc.). • Installed Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server and Organized the internal Technical support. • Developed on-line games in company\'s web site, Software Applications and Databases.

Manager

The Computer Technology Institute and Press \Diophantus\ is a research and technology organization focusing on research and development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Particular emphasis is placed on education by developing and deploying conventional and digital media in education and lifelong learning; publishing printed and electronic educational materials; administrating and managing the Greek School Network; and supporting the organization and operation of the electronic infrastructure of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and all educational units. • Business Analyst in \IT Projects for the Public\ Sector. I participated in several projects for private and public organizations. Some of them are, ASEP (High Council of Personnel Selection for the Public Sector), OPAP (Gambling Organization), ODIE (Horse Races Organization), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. • In \Further Education\ Sector, I designed two very complicated MIS\'s (Management Information Systems) which served, near 200,000 clients. After that I managed the development of these MIS\'s. The platform we used was .net and the language C#. • Designed and organized the project Help Desk. • One of my biggest successes was achieving consensus among stakeholders especially those found in public sector. That was one of the most difficult tasks I undertook. • I designed the certification software that has been used for the certification of 150,000 teachers in all Greek State; a software that received positive feedback and was commented very highly by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs when compared with the world famous ECDL.
